It was the longest ever tennis match, beating the previous record of six hours and 33 minutes when Fabrice Santoro beat Arnaud Clement at the French Open in 2004.
Longest single set: 70-68 (Eight hours, 11 minutes).
Beat previous Grand Slam longest when Andy Roddick beat Younes El Aynaoui 21-19 at the 2003 Australian Open.
Also, at the 1969 US Open, John Newcombe beat Marty Reissen 4-6 6-3 6-4 25-23.
Most games played in single match: 183 games (70-68 in final set)
Previous records were:
Doubles: 122 - Stan Smith and Erik van Dillen (United States) v Patricio Cornejo and Jaime Fillol (Chile) - Davis Cup, 1973
Singles: 112 - Pancho Gonzales beat Charlie Pasarell 22-24 1-6 16-14 6-3 11-9 - Wimbledon, 1969
Most aces by player/in a match: 113 Isner, 103 Mahut (216 total)
Previous record: 78 - Ivo Karlovic (Croatia) - 2009 Davis Cup v Radek Stepanek (Czech Republic). That match featured 96 aces in total.
Just an absolutely insane match. That's the only way to describe it. I feel extremely honored just to be a part of it, just having watched it. Something like this will never happen again. If you were able to see it, you should feel special that you could be a part of one of the greatest sports achievements and spectacles of all time.

Is it true that they went back and changed Isner's ace count by 1? What a crazy week it has been. Just unbelievable.
